Our Year 1 Project Workshop will be held at the historic Mountain Lake Lodge, nested in the Blue Ridge Mountains and surrounded by a 2600-acre nature preserve. We will kick off the workshop with a team dinner at 6:00 pm on May 17, 2016. Working groups and team meetings will be held on May 18 and the Morning of May 19, with some time set aside to enjoy the beautiful landscape! The meeting wraps up with a team lunch from 12:00-1:00 pm on May 19.

Travel information

• Travel will be reimbursed through Virginia Tech. All flights must be booked through Martin Travel.
• Transportation to and from the airport is provided by Roanoke Airport Transportation Service.

• • All shuttle arrangements have been booked and prepaid by Virginia Tech.

• • Shuttle assignments:
    • Shuttle #1 (ROA to Mtn Lake Lodge) departs ROA at approximately 2:30pm on 5/17. Passengers: Klug, LaMarche, Ward, Weathers.
    • Shuttle #2 (ROA to Mtn Lake Lodge) departs ROA at approximately 4:45pm on 5/17. Passengers: Hart, Gries, Dugan, Soranno, Hanson.
    • Return Shuttle (Mtn Lake Lodge to ROA) departs Mountain Lake Lodge at 1:00pm sharp on 5/19. Passengers: Hart, Gries, Weathers, Soranno, Klug, LaMarche.

• Lodging has been booked and will be paid on your behalf. Check in at the front desk on arrival.
