Friday April 17th, 1-3pm CDT&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
(1) We will be using Zoom videoconferencing for the summit. It allows easy switch of presenter roles to share your screen/pptx for the group to view. Both Zoom video &amp;amp; audio also work pretty well with cellphone and tablets (iOS and Android), or when you connect from a lower bandwidth. You will be prompted to download and install the Zoom Launcher after you connect to our meeting link: https://zoom.us/j/6082344253 - if you have not used it or saved its app launcher plugin in your browser before. We will send the link again &amp;amp; additional phone call-in info with the updated agenda forthcoming.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
*You can start/test connecting to the meeting starting from 30 min prior to the scheduled summit (1230 to 1pm US CDT). If any questions or you wish to test at a different time please do not hesitate to contact Grace.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
(2) Each team (SALT and S.O.S.) will give a ~30-min report back on your progress &amp;amp; next steps. In addition to overall project updates, please include slides that touch on the following topics:&lt;br /&gt;
How did you handle logistics?&lt;br /&gt;
What has worked well so far? What are you happy with?&lt;br /&gt;
What were some challenges of the project so far? Are you disappointed in anything?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
(3) After both group updates, we will have a 30-40 min general discussions of the following (subject to change):&lt;br /&gt;
What has been working well since January? (Science, data, team organizing, etc.)&lt;br /&gt;
Any bottlenecks or challenges? Data integration, analyses, or others. Discuss potential solutions.&lt;br /&gt;
Preliminary August (16th -20th) workshop goals.&lt;br /&gt;

The first workshop began with an R Skills Sharing activity. All fellows presented on their chosen skill. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The general instructions were: &lt;br /&gt;
Identify a skill, tool technique you currently do not know how to implement, and learn how to carry it out. Explain the skill’s relevance to you (why did you choose it?) and  to others (how can others use it?), and visualize results in a plot, if appropriate. Overall, you should aim to stretch a bit outside of your current knowledge ‘comfort zone’.&lt;br /&gt;
